Grow your own - On pack to Facebook - 2015
When Heinz was looking to remind people that every squeeze of its tomato ketchup contains a quarter of a tomato it came to Maglabs Digital to activate it’s 2015 ‘Grow your Own’ on pack campaign.
Building on the success of the previous year’s campaigns, it wanted to re-engage families in UK, France, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Spain, Portugal & Ireland by encouraging them to participate in a tomato growing experience. Maglabs Digital activated the on pack promotion via a dedicated ‘Grow Your Own’ Heinz Tomato Ketchup page where customers could request a packet of seeds.
Fans across Europe requested all of the free 500,000 limited edition ‘Grow Your Own’ packets of tomato seeds.
Winter Warmers - In store / eCRM - Europe wide - 2015
Heinz was looking to prepare customers for cold weather by launching its Winter Warmers campaign. The creative for the campaign, which will run throughout retailers, shows staples of the Heinz brand, including cream of tomato soup, baked beans and spaghetti hoops wrapped up in winter hats and scarves.
The creative was activated with a Free prize draw and Maglabs Digital created the website that allowed customers to enter. Using the Bar codes on 3 products in the Winter Warmers range customers could instantly win a range of prizes that included winter holiday to Iceland to see the Northern lights
The campaign was a huge success attracting a record number of entrants.
Afterschool Heroes – On Pack, digital activation and instant win - 2015
After the 2015 school holidays Heinz wanted to make teatimes super with the launch of its ‘After School Heroes’ an on pack completion with a digital entry to promote quick and easy meals that the kids will love.
Featuring Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman on pack, Heinz looked to the team of digital super heroes at Maglabs Digital to provide the digital activation piece. The campaign, which ran for 12 weeks, featured a competition to win prizes including 1,000 goodie bags, 1,000 DC Comics DVDs and one lucky winner was in the chance to win a family holiday to Los Angeles.
The solution used an Instant win mechanic but to tie in with the theme this was linked to the time of day. The campaign was a huge success collecting entrants across Europe.
